As a teacher with a wealth of experience, I have dealt with many students who are differently
inclined mathematically. I have devoted many hours over the years to after school programmes which were geared towards helping students who struggle with the learning of Mathematics.
I strongly believe that given the opportunity to understand Mathematics using different teaching methods, each student would be able to improve his or her Mathematics skills. In my opinion, today’s classroom is very diversified with students of different learning abilities, hence, teachers must look at creative ways to stimulate students through the use of multiple representations and making connections to the real world where possible.
